The faculty of Political Science and Public administration was founded in 2004 for the aim to provide deep understanding of political concepts and functions of various institutions of government, as well as fostering independent critical thinking and developing the intellectual capacity and awareness of issues related to the political arena not limited to Somalia but extended to the global community. Since its establishment, the faculty has been striving to achieve its strategic objectives by improving and developing intellectual guidance of media, political direction of the basic structures of the State and good governance system that pose the potential to drive comprehensively, media and political reforms in Somalia.

This degree is offered over a period of four years split into eight semesters
This program will be offered under two modules: full time and part-Time as students who cannot attend 6 days’ regular schedule will have the opportunity to take weekend classes plus summer.
