The Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery which was opened in 2013 offers knowledge and clinical skills necessary in holistic medical practitioner. Students are trained in current technologies in advanced teaching methods involved in research and critical thinking that enables medical students to practice evidence based medicine.

Graduates are expected to be disciplined and ethical doctors well versed with holistic approach to health care management.
The medicine program is fulltime and extended over six academic years including one-year training internship. The Faculty awards the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) to the enrolled students who successfully complete the six- year program.
The Six (6) academic year program courses are divided into:
1) Social and Humanistic Science Courses with emphasis in languages and culture.
2) Basic Science Courses
3) Clinical Science Courses.
4) Field/Lab Trainings.
5) Clinical Rotation Program
Internship year is divided into six training parts:
(5 compulsories and 1 selective) rotations, 2 months each. Compulsory rotations are: general surgery, internal medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and Community Medicine.
Objective:
The primary objective is to promote the advancement of medical science through the use of quality education, investigation of evidence-based mechanisms for prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of diseases as well as an excellence management system.
