The Bachelor of Education and humanities Programs are intended to prepare teachers, historians, language experts for secondary schools, social workers and journalists.  However, it is also suitable for people who are involved in educational management and training in the higher education institutions both in the public and private sectors.  Students who go through this degree can also become trainers in tertiary institutions as well as institutions of higher learning.

This faculty is one of the pioneering faculties established by the university in 1997 as it aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. Preparing qualified future teachers in line with modern educational direction to take the task of teaching in the primary and secondary stages.
2. Producing qualified psychologists to work in various fields such as schools, universities, hospitals, educational, industrial, social and other fields.
3. Preparing educational field specialists and their professional skills to enable them to diagnose, care and treat.
4. Contributing to the upgrade the efficiency of teachers through the provision of special training programs and courses.
5. Cooperating with the Ministry of Education in the study of educational problems in schools and institutes by using scientific research methods of education and other means.
6. Preparing a generation of educational researchers with degrees in the post graduate programs offered by the faculty departments.
7. Addressing educational problems faced by the Somali society in general, and educational institutions and professional centers in particular through field Study assessments and recommendations.
8. Conducting research projects in order to develop and improve the teaching methods of different subjects in public and private education schools.
